Sometimes all that your furniture requires is new replacement foam or fibre interiors to give it a new lease of life.
All too often we have customers telling us their sofa is in need of reupholstering as the cushions no longer fit properly, when really, it’s more a case that the cushion interiors have lost their shape and need replacing.
The Cover Story use quality Australian foam from Dunlop™ with many different grades and one that will suit your requirements.
So, what is the right filling for your cushions?
Well it simply falls in to one of the three choices below:
Replacement Foam Cushions
Foam: The Cover Story supply foam cut to size and any shape to fit your sofa and chairs, this is the most popular choice and with a wide range of grades to choose from. We have over 30 grades of foam available!
Foam cushions create neat lines and can be plumped up with Dacron wrapping to give them more softness and shape.
We also recommend foam as the perfect replacement cushion for those who have limited mobility as it is easier for you to lift yourself out of the seat.
Replacement Hollow Fibre Cushions
Looking for a softer feeling and relaxed look to your cushions? Then hollow fibre can be the best option it’s also a cheaper option in comparison to feather inserts. Holow fibre allows you to sink in to your cushions also keep in mind you may leave a temporary imprint from siting in the cushions but this will fill back out.
Hollow fibre inserts do require regular rotation of the cushions to allow for even wear.
Replacement Feather & Down Cushions
Feather and Down cushions, there is no doubt feather and down cushions do create a softy warm luxury feel, but with the nature of these cushion fillings they do lose their shape and sink quickly, the only real solution to keep this minimal is to rotate the cushions on a regular basis and plump up too. Many people opt for a core foam insert on these nowadays with a wrapped over feather and down.
